Depending on the piercing you have had done, full healing can range anywhere between 6 - 12 months. During your session, aftercare & the healing process will be explained to you.
Tattoos are by appointment only.
We accept walk-ins for piercings Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00 until 17:00.
Booking is recommended for large groups or on Saturdays to avoid queuing. Although, don’t worry if you haven’t, you will be welcome to chill in our art gallery whilst you wait.
Our piercers at the House of Hoodoo use the traditional blade method rather than guns or cannulas; this reduces trauma, the time taken to execute each piercing & has a much faster healing rate.
Only the highest quality medical grade titanium is used for every procedure, this encourages healing & is biocompatible (friendly to your body), resistant to bodily fluids and nickel free.
Titanium weighs less & is much stronger than stainless steel, this means you will have body-piercing jewellery that is both durable, comfortable and without scratches.
All of our jewellery is sterilised in a vacuum autoclave before use. The autoclave is a machine that uses pressure and steam to reach and maintain a very high temperature (132° if you’re interested) that is too hot for any microorganisms (germs) or their spores to live.
